We see that the infiltration team has moved on with their lives and are reintegrating into free society. We lastly see Ganta visiting Shiro in the hospital, as she is in a coma.

The manga/anime does an excellent job of contrasting this view of reality with Ganta's hardened, pessimistic, grounded lens. While Shiro continues to experience philia towards Ganta, during the main storyline, I would say that no, Ganta does not experience Philia towards Shiro in any large degree. Fifth, let's consider Pragma, or longstanding love.

• 9 yr. ago lynxloco A question about the deadman wonderland ending. Can someone summarize the whole thing? I didn't quite get it.. Also why did Shiro wake up after Ganta left? Did Shiro already wake up from her coma? Does Ganta know Shiro is not in a coma anymore? What is exactly meant by finishing the song, living together or loving eachother?
